Teaser is a 1924 designed Sweep Stakes Runabout (Designed by George Crouch, Baby Bootlegger) 40 feet in length with a 7' 8? beam. Originally built with steam bent frames every 6 inches, mahogany planked with a triple cockpit set-up. Teaser features 3 bench assemblies, 29 frames and 15 floor timbers ranging from 3/4” to 1 1/2” thick. Main stringers are 8” (203.2mm) x 1 1/4” (32mm) spaced to suit standard Mercruiser set-ups. Frames are 3” by 3/4” cut-outs are provided for chine, deck and side battens as well as hull.Floors and levels are provided as is the engine hatch assembly and forward hatch. Buyers are encouraged to email us for tailored engine beds to suit their needs.

This is a very detailed plan set, each frame has it own individual full size plan at full size. Largest sheet size is approximately 3 feet by 5 feet, all floor timbers and deck beams are also provided at full size in PDF (Adobe Reader format) for ease of printing and viewing. Simpler components are fully dimensioned and presented in A3 size, measurements are shown in metric and imperial. Original hull thickness is 5/8” or 16 mm.

Components within the plan are located to mating parts using 1/8” marked holes that take the guesswork out of alignment. Screen shots of assemblies and a 3D model are also included with the plans for ease of recognition and a feel for how the vessel is built.
